Cordell Klier is a Minneapolis media designer within the field of HIV Prevention. A background in unconventional music and performance art (18 years), he is widely known for his recording label DOCTSECT with it’s broad musical contributions within the last 20 years. Klier most recently became lead curator for theARThousePARTY, and now consults for the recording label Rotten Crab. An avid admirer of minimalism and silence, Klier’s more recent recordings tend to embody a more lofty approach to electro acoustics then that of his contemporaries. Decisively replacing structural composites for a strict emphasis on free improvisation and drone.
