From returning Cyclene artist, Monopole, and one from New Cyclene artist, Matt B. Transmissions is an ambient downtempo track produced by Detroit based musician, Matt B. Originally conceived and preformed as a live performance, Matt B. gives you a listening experience perfect for an autumn with winter on the horizon evening. Click Here to view the release Our 34th release comes from Richard Sudney (aka Monopole). Continuity embraces intricate beats and glitches mixed with audio recordings of encounters. Continuity takes the listener through audio photo album of moments from past and those yet to be recorded. We would like to thank everyone who came out for Spliced #4. The Circuit bent toys and noise were certainly brought. Thanks to Matt B, Thom, Dan McCarthy aka DJ SSW, DJ Shitchamwow for performing. Stay tuned, there’s more Spliced on the way. Also coming up after the holiday are two new releases. One from Monopole who returns to Cyclene with his release,”Continuity.” The second comes from another mitten state resident, Matt B. Matt will debut with a down tempo set titled, “Transmission.” Please look forward to these release later this week. Finally, in mid-December we’ll be release an album of remixes that we did for Minimal States, aka Thom Carter. Here’s some info about Thom. Look for the release in few weeks: Minimal States is an electronic music project by Thom Carter started in late 2008. Using synths, field recordings, self-written software and a laptop, the music combines elements of ambient, generative, glitch and IDM. He has released albums with the Test Tube, Clinical Archives and Digital Kunstrassen labels. Cyclene artist, Steven Curtin, wil be performing at this monthly event. Steven weaves sonic tapestries evoking eastern mysticism and western industrialization.
